The Mannings

The Mannings is not specifically a rug hooking shop but it is a must-see stop if you are interested in the fiber arts.  The Mannings has been supplying the weaving, spinning and knitting community for more years than I can count!

They have on display and for sale a huge selection of looms, spinning wheels and all the accessories imaginable for the fiber crafts.  There are racks of books and seemingly endless varieties of yarn.  They also offer a wide selection of weaving, spinning, and knitting classes from beginning to advanced.

They are located approx. 3 miles west of East Berlin, PA off of  route 234.  There is a big green sign where you make the first turn and then about 1/4 mile to a smaller sign on the road that will take you down the hill and across the creek to their lovely rural site.

I'm not sure of their hours, but I think it's 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
The phone number is 717 624-2223.
They also have a website.
